Murali leads the innovation practice at PwC India. He has over 22 years of experience in the innovation, technology, cyber architecture, new media and community creation space.
He also leads PwC India’s start up practice where he plays a key role in identifying start ups, structuring and refining their investment models. Under his able leadership, PwC has built a strong community of startups, incubators, accelerators, seed funds, angel networks, VCs etc. Murali was instrumental in setting up the innovation hub at T-Hub in Hyderabad. As a part of this strategic alliance, PwC will play the role of knowledge partner, business mentor and strategy consultant to the startup community. As a part of this, startups will get access to to PwC’s vast network of clients and resources across 157 countries, thereby bridging the gap between the startups and the market. Aligned with PwC’s innovation program “InnWoke,” it aims to support and mentor PwC’s intrapreneurs as well.
Murali is passionate about the start up community and takes an active interest in interacting with the young entrepreneurial minds, mentoring and encouraging them in their journey.
Murali Talasila has been quite instrumental in supporting the elements of the ecosystem in major destinations in India like Hyderabad, Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai etc. across sectors and also stakeholders including State governments, Academia, Makerspaces, co-working spaces, Smart Cities teams, investor network and next generation family business clubs.
While these are only a few of the engagements, Murali can be spotted at the events and workshops as a mentor or judge or just playing the role of an encouraging supporter.
