Focus: Upcycling food waste into low-cost nutritious cattle feeds & fodder
Solution:
- Used leftover fruits & vegetables from APMCs, Farms & Juice Centres
- Conducted restrictive salt treatment & controlled solar based drying to retain the natural minerals
- Able to reduce the moisture (in the residues) by over 50% & ensure that the resulting cattle feed was high in natural minerals and free from aflatoxins
